After being a chiropractor for 30 years I feel blessed to be part of a profession that helps people reach their full potential and do things they never thought possible. When I was a teenager I was in a really bad car accident that caused me daily neck pain and spasms. I went to my doctor and the only option available was to take pain killers. Earlier that year my mother had fallen from a ladder and broker her shoulder and was told by her orthopedic surgeon that she would never be able to lift her arm again. Determined that this was not her fate she went to a chiropractor and was able to gain full function of her arm again. I thought that I would give chiropractic a try since it had helped my mother so dramatically. In just a short amount of time my neck pain and spasms were gone, and I had fully gained back my range of motion. But not only were my symptoms gone, but I began to realize that I was also getting sick less often. Prior to visiting the chiropractor I used to get strep throat 2 to 3 times per year, but to this day I have never had strep throat again.

In University I was always fascinated by natural medicine and knew I wanted to work with people. My original dream was to be a dentist, but through my experience and mentoring from my chiropractor I decided to enroll in Chiropractic College. I was and still am fascinated by the body’s ability to heal itself and how chiropractic allows your body to function better and unleash this healing power.

I have a passion for learning and over the years have gained extensive knowledge in pediatrics, rehabilitation, and multiple techniques to provide the best care possible to each and every patient. My goal is to uncover the cause of your health condition, not merely cover up the symptoms. I enjoy providing care to people of all ages, but have particular interest in treating families and watching them grow and develop over the years. I have many patients that began under my care in their first few weeks of life that I still have the pleasure of treating now as adults.

As a chiropractor I believe one of my roles is to serve those around me. One of the life changing opportunities I have been involved in is going on mission trips to the Dominican Republic to provide care to people living in poverty. It was very humbling to serve and help those who are less fortunate than us as Canadians.

My goal in practice is to be a wellness centered chiropractor for those looking to improve their overall health and live a more vital life. I look forward to journeying with you.
